Eldon Tool and Engineering Ltd is a stimulating and challenging place to work and we are looking for someone who has experience in in manual milling, turning & surface grinding to produce high quality prototype products and tooling to engineering drawings.

You will work closely with Engineering and Design departments and have input into design changes and machining methods.

Location: Sheffield – Don Valley area

Hours: 37 Hours per week – Working hours to be discussed at interview. We are also happy to accept applications for those looking for a part time position.

Salary: Starting at £12.75 per hour - We are offering a competitive salary that will depend on experience. This will be discussed at interview.

The Role:

To produce high quality products by operating manual machines
Be able to work in line with company procedures and machine capability to ensure production deadlines are met.
To cover CNC production machines as and when required to ensure continuous production
Undertake any necessary training to help with self-development

Required Skills:

Previous experience of working in a toolroom environment
Experience of manual milling, turning & surface grinding
Experience of fitting, assembly
Ability to problem solve & come up with solutions
Good Team Player
To be motivated with a “can do” attitude.
