Job Summary
The Role:
- Primarily operating and setting CNC Milling machines with Fanuc & Siemens controls.
- Modifying programs as and when required ensuring quality workmanship at all times.
- Checking tool's dimensions with precision measuring instruments - verniers.
- Working in line with company procedures and machine capability to ensure production deadlines are met.
- Maintaining set-up sheets as required and in line with company procedure.
- Maintenance of the work area at all times by keeping machine and all associated tools and equipment in a clean and tidy manner.
- Working within a safe environment by ensuring all company procedures and Health & Safety legislation is followed at all times.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Previous CNC experience, ideally with Milling experience.
- Ability to read 2D engineering drawings.
- A team player with a flexible attitude.
- Organised, focused and able to adopt a high level of attention to detail within your work.
- An understanding and appreciation of health and safety.
- Ability to use initiative.
The hours for the role will be 37 per week, Monday to Friday.
