Job Summary

The Role:

  • Primarily operating and setting CNC Milling machines with Fanuc & Siemens controls.
  • Modifying programs as and when required ensuring quality workmanship at all times.
  • Checking tool's dimensions with precision measuring instruments - verniers.
  • Working in line with company procedures and machine capability to ensure production deadlines are met.
  • Maintaining set-up sheets as required and in line with company procedure.
  • Maintenance of the work area at all times by keeping machine and all associated tools and equipment in a clean and tidy manner.
  • Working within a safe environment by ensuring all company procedures and Health & Safety legislation is followed at all times.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Previous CNC experience, ideally with Milling experience.
  • Ability to read 2D engineering drawings.
  • A team player with a flexible attitude.
  • Organised, focused and able to adopt a high level of attention to detail within your work.
  • An understanding and appreciation of health and safety.
  • Ability to use initiative.

The hours for the role will be 37 per week, Monday to Friday.
