Responsible for the methods, system and equipment used in a manufacturing facility to convert raw materials into their final product. 

Main duties and responsibilities include:
  • Assessing industrial processes and taking measurements and data
  • Developing practices, routines and solutions, help improve productivity and quality.
  • Designing and running process simulations, performing risk assessment testing to eliminate time and cost constraints.
  • Preparing documentation and operating instructions.
  • Overseeing and assessing new and existing processes.
  • Devising, implementing and testing new strategies to help optimise productivity
  • Analysing data to discover areas that need improvements and upgrades 
  • Assessing compliance and adherence to safety and quality standards and reporting to higher management about their findings and proposals.
The Candidate:
  • Experience with Cad/Cam software (Autodesk Inventorcam)
  • Milling, multi-axis turning, sliding head knowledge
  • Use of Lean/Six Sigma tools
  • Experience in offering technical support 
  • Quality control knowledge
  • Experience is offering support to a production department
  • Experience/knowledge of LEAN, Kaizen and 5S.
  • Have excellent written and oral skills.
  • Be a strong communicator.
  • Good at problem-solving.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team with other departments
  • Excellent at developing action plans and KPI’s.
